Jodo Gasshuku in Dresden

from October 6th to October 7th, 2007

Unfortunately, my report of this Gasshiku comes a little bit late as I was terribly busy these days (despite the fact that I have retired from business!). Anyhow, here is a brief summary of what we have done during that Gasshuku.

Again, our friend Jan invited us to come to Dresden for two days to follow a training, this time with Kees from the Netherlands. It was the first time Kees came to Dresden, in fact, in previous times it was Vincent who had headed this Gasshuku. We were also glad to welcome Martin from Vienna and some people from Munich.

Saturday morning was mainly dedicated to Ken training, with many different exercises. Quite a few of them were still unknown to us, so was really enriching to practice them. The afternoon saw us practicing a lot of Jo exercises. We repeated these exercises on Sunday, when we also went through the different Jo series.

On Saturday evening, we had dinner in a typical brewery with a lot of beer in a very nice atmosphere. Hopefully we can go there again next time!

All in all, this event was very successful and we would like to thank Kees for his efforts. We would be glad if he could come again to Dresden in the future.
